Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before booking your Umrah or Hajj package. This page outlines the guidelines, requirements, and policies regarding your travel, including payment procedures, cancellation policies, and traveler responsibilities. Understanding these terms ensures a smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage experience with us.
Welcome to Riff Travel. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the services we offer. By booking any of our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking & Payments
1.1 Reservation and Payment
- A booking is only confirmed once we receive the full or partial payment, as per the payment schedule outlined for your selected package.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other payment methods provided at checkout.
1.2 Payment Deadlines
- All payments must be made according to the schedule specified in your booking confirmation. Failure to meet the payment deadlines may result in cancellation of your reservation without notice.
1.3 Late Payments
- Late payments are subject to additional fees. Your reservation may be canceled if payment is not completed within the deadline.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
2.1 Cancellation by the Customer
- All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email.
- Cancellation fees apply as follows:
- 30+ days before departure: 10% of the package cost is non-refundable.
- 15-30 days before departure: 50% of the package cost is non-refundable.
- Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the package cost is non-refundable.
2.2 Refund Processing
- Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 30 business days of receiving the cancellation request.
- Any payment gateway charges or administrative fees incurred during the transaction will be deducted from the refund amount.
2.3 Cancellation by the Company
- We reserve the right to cancel the trip under circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, travel restrictions, etc.). In such cases, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
3. Travel Documentation
3.1 Passport & Visa Requirements
- It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that their passport is valid for at least six (6) months beyond the travel dates.
- We will assist in the Umrah or Hajj visa application process, but the final decision rests with the Saudi authorities.
3.2 Vaccination & Health Requirements
- All travelers must meet the health and vaccination requirements as set by the authorities of Saudi Arabia and the Indonesian government. This may include vaccinations for Meningitis, COVID-19, and other health protocols.
4. Travel Insurance
4.1 Mandatory Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers to cover potential medical expenses, trip cancellations, lost luggage, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have adequate coverage for the duration of the trip.
5. Package Inclusions & Exclusions
5.1 Package Inclusions
- All items listed in the specific package details, such as flights, accommodations, transportation, meals, guides, and group activities, are included.
5.2 Package Exclusions
- Any services not explicitly listed in the package, such as personal expenses, travel insurance, visa fees, additional meals, and optional excursions, are excluded unless otherwise stated.
6. Changes to Itinerary
6.1 Modifications by the Company
- We reserve the right to make minor changes to the itinerary (e.g., time adjustments, hotel changes) without affecting the overall travel experience.
- In cases where significant changes are required (e.g., flight cancellations, changes in destinations), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer alternative options.
6.2 Traveler Requests
- Any request for itinerary changes by the traveler will be considered but cannot be guaranteed. Additional costs may apply.
7. Liability & Responsibility
7.1 Company Responsibility
- We act as an agent for transportation, accommodations, and other services. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during your pilgrimage, except where it is due to our negligence.
7.2 Force Majeure
- We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, pandemics, or government restrictions.
8. Traveler Conduct
8.1 Compliance with Local Laws
- All travelers must adhere to the laws, customs, and regulations of the destination countries. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of your participation in the pilgrimage, without refund.
9. Privacy Policy
9.1 Use of Personal Data
- Your personal information will only be used for processing your booking and facilitating your pilgrimage. We do not share your information with third parties unless required by law or for the purpose of completing your travel arrangements.
10. Governing Law
10.1 Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Indonesia.
11. Amendments
11.1 Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will apply to all bookings made after the new terms have been posted.
